The Challenge

The Challenge is on at Bryant Middle School.  Students are challenged to read as many pages as they can in the month of November to win prizes including donuts, pizza, and ice cream!  Make sure to keep track of your pages so that you can record them in your first period class.  As soon as you finish your book, come and get another one from the library.  May the most determined readers win!

Battle of the Books 2016-2017

We currently have our Battle of the Books reading competition going on.  There are two parts to the competition.  The first is that students who read any 5 books from the list get to come at pizza party in the library in May.  The second is that students who read the most books will participate in a quiz show like competition with other schools who are reading the same books to see who knows the books the best.  Come to the library to find out more!

Library Book Club

We just had our first library book club during lunch time.  Students read either Sweet by Emmy Laybourne or I Become Shadow by Joe Shine.  The brought their lunch to the library and talked to other students who read the same book.  Some students seemed hesitant to come to the book club, but once they were there they really enjoyed the interaction.  Our next book club is for I Am Princess X and Undertow and will meet before winter break.  If you want to participate, sign up in the library today!
